Rate a Finding

Overview

Users can rate findings on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. "Findings rated by you, will show with the rating you've given." Community-based ratings appear for unrated findings, weighted by user credibility scores.

Rating Calculation System

The platform uses a weighted formula where each user's rating contribution is multiplied by their performance score, representing "their auditing performance across multiple platforms."

Formula Components:

  • User scores reflect verified audit history
  • Higher-scored users have greater influence on final ratings
  • Community suggestions combine to create consensus scores

Example Application

Two users demonstrate the system in action:

  • User A (score: 2500) suggests 2 stars
  • User B (score: 7000) suggests 5 stars

The calculation weights User B's input more heavily due to their superior track record, resulting in a final score closer to 5 than to 2.

Key Principle

"Ratings from users with higher scores have more weight in the final calculation of the score," ensuring experienced auditors shape community assessments.
