Appeals Eligibility Criteria

Overview

To participate in appealing third-party submissions in CodeHawks competitions, auditors must satisfy specific eligibility requirements designed to maintain fair judging standards.

Three Required Criteria

Auditors seeking to appeal submissions from other participants must meet all of the the following conditions:

  1. Active Contest Participation: "Have at least one submission in the Contest they would be judging" to demonstrate familiarity with the codebase and competition context.

  2. Earnings Threshold: "Have earned at least $200 USDC from previous CodeHawks competitions" to filter out inexperienced judges and prevent sybil attacks.

  3. Quality Ratio: Maintain "a total submission to valid submission ratio greater than or equal to 0.2" to ensure alignment with Cyfrin's quality standards.

Important Exception

The eligibility requirements apply exclusively to appealing others' work. The document clarifies: "An auditor will always be eligible to appeal their own submissions."
