AI First Flights
Overview
Cyfrin CodeHawks has introduced AI-powered First Flights, which operate similarly to standard First Flights but incorporate significant AI automation capabilities.
Getting Started
To access AI First Flights:
- Navigate to First Flights in the CodeHawks navigation bar
- Select the AI Judged First Flight tab
- Browse the available challenges and select one to begin
Challenge Details
Once you initiate a challenge by clicking "Start Challenge," you'll have one week to identify and report vulnerabilities. Information about submitting findings is available in the dedicated submission guide.
Key Differences from Regular First Flights
AI First Flights differ in three important ways:
- Flexible timing: Participants can start at any point, rather than during designated windows
- No appeals process: Decisions are final without appeal opportunities
- Instant evaluation: The AI judge provides immediate performance feedback
Purpose
These challenges offer an opportunity to develop security expertise while receiving actionable, specific feedback on your analytical approach and findings quality.
