Deactivating or Deleting Your Account
What Happens When You Permanently Delete Your Cyfrin Profile?
Permanent deletion carries significant consequences:
- "You won't be able to reactivate your profile"
- All associated data disappears permanently, including profile information, rewards, builder score, and course completions
- Access to Cyfrin Updraft, CodeHawks, and Solodit becomes unavailable
- "Some information, like findings, reports, and rewards, may still be visible to other users after you delete your account"
How to Delete Your Cyfrin Profile
Follow these steps from your Profile Settings:
- Click the dropdown menu in the top right navigation
- Select Settings
- Locate the Danger Zone within the General category
- Click the Delete Account button
- Enter your username in the modal window
- Confirm deletion by clicking Delete
Important: "This profile will not be recoverable."
Can You Cancel Account Deletion?
No. Once confirmed, deletion cannot be reversed. Users would need to create an entirely new profile to regain access.
Deleting Your Data
Cyfrin allows users to delete all stored personal data in compliance with regional regulations.
To remove your data:
- Open the dropdown in the top right navigation
- Select Settings
- Find Danger Zone in the General section
- Click Delete all my data
- Enter your username and confirm via the modal
