Basic Profile Information

Cyfrin Profiles contain essential user details including username, name, bio, and social accounts. All profile information can be updated at any time, provided it complies with Cyfrin's Terms and Conditions. These profiles integrate across Cyfrin's ecosystem, connecting users to Updraft, CodeHawks, Solodit, and other platforms.

How to Change Your Cyfrin Username and Name

Follow these steps to modify your handle and display name:

1. Verify your new name adheres to Cyfrin's naming guidelines
2. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner of the dashboard
3. Select Edit Profile
4. Update your username or name
5. Click Save Changes to apply

Note: "Usernames can be changed every 60 days." Contact support via Discord if problems occur.

Add or Edit Your Bio

To create a bio reflecting your expertise and interests:

1. Navigate to Edit Profile in account settings
2. Locate the Bio section and add text (maximum 150 characters)
3. Click Save Changes

Tip: Emphasize distinctive skills or interests to enhance profile visibility.

Managing Social Accounts

Add social media links through these steps:

1. Go to your profile edit page (https://profiles-dev.devcyfrin.com/u/your-username/edit)
2. Scroll to Social Accounts
3. Add or update links and select Save Changes

Supported platforms include Twitter and LinkedIn.

Adding Company and Job Title

Display professional information by:

1. Accessing Edit Profile
2. Scrolling to Company & Job Title section
3. Entering relevant details and clicking Save Changes

What to Do If Your Handle Is Rejected

Handles must meet Cyfrin guidelines. If rejected:

• Attempt resubmission with an adjusted name
• Contact support through Discord if you believe the rejection was an error
