Cyfrin requires identity verification to distribute certain rewards (KYC rewards) for legal compliance and fraud prevention. This process may involve uploading ID photos or taking a selfie.

You won't be able to receive your KYC rewards until the identity verification process is completed.

Before you move on

  • All ID documents must be verified through the Cyfrin website. Emailed documents will not be accepted.

  • Changing your legal or country of residence requires uploading a valid ID with the updated information. This may require Cyfrin Support assistance.

  • ID verification typically takes 5 minutes to 24 hours to complete.

  • Follow the instructions in any Cyfrin email to update your account information.

  • If you’ve received an email from Cyfrin advising you to update your account information, follow the instructions provided in the email to update your account.

  • Review country-specific identity document details below.

  • During the process, make sure to turn off any VPN

To verify your identity:


1. Navigate to your profile settings page at: https://profiles.cyfrin/settings/general

2. Click on the "verify your identity" button

3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
