Submit a Finding
Overview
To submit a finding on CodeHawks, users should navigate to an active contest's details page (either Competitive Audit or First Flight format).
Submission Methods
Primary Method: At the top of the contest details page, locate a "bright orange button to 'Submit a Vulnerability'" and click it to access the finding submission form.
Alternative Method: Users can navigate to the submissions section at the bottom of the contest page. If no prior submissions exist, there's a link stating "Click here to submit your first vulnerability" which routes to the submission form.
Finding Submission Form
The submission interface offers two distinct options:
- Individual submissions — attributed to a single person
- Team submissions — attributed to a team
Users toggle between these modes at the top of the form to change submission attribution.
Final Step: Complete the provided template with finding details and select the appropriate button to submit.
